The purpose of this Notice
As part of our arrangement with you, we (Lynn & Nigel King) have certain obligations under privacy laws, including the Data Protection Act, to notify individuals how we will process any personal information we collect about you.

What type of personal information will be processed?
We collect and process various personal data about you for the purpose of providing quotations and administering rental arrangements with you for the hire of our holiday barn: Ford Old Hall barn.
Common examples of personal data which may be collected and used by us in our day to day business activities include:
- name;
- age;
- address;
- telephone number and other contact details (including email addresses);
- bank account information for processing rental payments and rental bond payments;
- food allergies;
Any information which we receive fairly and lawfully relating to one of the above categories constitutes sensitive personal data. Examples of likely items which may contain sensitive personal data are;Email correspondence and booking forms
Please note that as with personal data, you have freedom of choice as to whether you wish to provide us with sensitive personal data. In addition to your right to request that we stop processing your personal data and sensitive personal data at any time.
You should, however, note that if you exercise this right, or subsequently request that we stop processing all or part of your personal data and/or sensitive personal data, this could impact upon our ability to provide you with the rental accommodation and complete a booking for you.
How will my personal data be collected and used?
We collect personal data from you to the extent necessary to provide holiday rental accommodation. We may process your personal data and sensitive personal data for the following reasons:
- Our legitimate business processes and activities which is the provision of self catering holiday accommodation.
Some of the personal data that we maintain will be kept in computerised files.
Who might my personal data be shared with?
We will not sell your personal data to any third parties.
We will not provide your date to any third parties.
Email contact
We may wish to contact you to advise we have availability in future years following a stay with us.
We will not send you any direct marketing.
