From Ashbourne continue on the Ashbourne to Leek road and turn right just before Cottage Kitchen Cafe. Follow the road for 1.6 miles and do not turn left and right when 0.5 mile in as instructed by Sat Nav (those instructions are wrong).

Once over the hump back bridge over the river, the road turns sharp right, we are 200 metres down on the left hand side after Ford Hall Farm, you won’t see the barn from the lane, it sits high behind the main house. You need to look out for the main house which is an Elizabethan long house with a long lawn in front of it, edging onto the lane, the house sits on the level just across from the river Hamps. Once you arrive, turn in & keep to the left hand side & drive towards the stone cobbled path to park which is to the left of the oak tree
